Ragdoll cats cannot eat melon seed shells. Melon seed shells are the shells of nut plants and chestnuts. What to do if a Ragdoll cat accidentally eats melon seed shells and gets stuck in its throat:

1. Grab the cat’s head with one hand and put your thumb and Place your index finger behind the cat's long fangs and use the palm of your hand to hold the rest of the cat's head.

2. Gently tilt the cat back, face upward, and use your thumbs to grasp the cat's mouth to open its mouth.

3. Gently pull out the cat's tongue. If you can see the melon seed shell, try to take out the melon seed shell with your fingers or needle-nose pliers.

4. If you still can't remove the melon seed shell, grab the cat's hind legs, turn it upside down, and shake it vigorously. Patting it gently on the back while shaking can help the melon seed shells to pour out.

5. If the melon seed shell has not been taken out, let the cat lie on its side, hold the last rib on both sides of the abdomen with your hands, and squeeze the abdomen quickly 3 to 4 times. If the foreign object is still stuck, stay, repeat the process.
