Alaskan dogs are not two dogs. They are one of the three sled dogs but they are not the same dog. The correct name of the Erha dog is Husky. This is a large short-haired dog breed with blue pupils and a uniform body shape. Alaskan dogs are large dogs with brown eyes, a wide body, and either long or short hair.

The two dogs are different in facial features and appearance. Please do not confuse them as the same type of dog.

The specific differences between Alaskan dogs and Huskies:

1. Forehead

Alaska: Alaskan foreheads are mostly pointed. It usually looks like a heart and a fire, or two fires.

Husky: The color distribution of Husky’s forehead and eyebrows has one fire, two fires, and three fires, which means it has a peach blossom face.

2. Eye color

Alaska: generally only brown, pure-blood Alaskans do not have blue eyes.

Husky: Eye colors include brown and blue (including dark brown, light brown, mandarin duck eyes).

3. Ear shape

Alaska: Alaska’s ears are widely spaced and pointed outward and back, with a large arc at the tip of the ear and a semicircular shape. If the ears are droopy, they will be faulty if they are too high.

Husky: The Husky’s ears are relatively close to each other, located higher on the head, and the ear tips have a smaller curvature, resembling a triangle. Husky’s ears are set too far apart and oversized ears are a fault.

4. Tail status

Alaska: Alaska’s tail is like a big fluttering feather. The base of the tail is thick, the hair is strong, it is always curly, and the tip of the tail is curved. Near the base of the tail.

Husky: A husky’s tail is not curled and is often straight, a bit like a wolf. When excited or running, the tail swings up, but the tip of the tail is always horizontal.

5. Body size

Alaska: Usually, Alaska is larger than Husky. Alaska is a large dog breed and looks a bit silly.

Husky: Husky is a medium-sized dog breed. In comparison, the facial features are more vivid than Alaskan.

6. Personality

Alaska: Although Alaska was naughty as a child, he will become stable, loyal to his owner and full of patience as an adult.

Huskies: Most Huskies are neurotic, and their enthusiasm for humans is often exaggerated.
