Cats can eat chicken and eggs. Chicken is a better food for cats to supplement protein. Egg whites contain high-quality protein, and egg yolks are rich in lecithin, vitamins, trace elements and other nutrients. Therefore, they can supplement the nutrients needed by the cat’s body and make the cat happy. The hair becomes soft and shiny.

Precautions for cats eating eggs:

1. Although eggs are very good for cats, they still cannot use eggs as their staple food.

2. When feeding eggs, try to cook them in plain water without adding seasonings; cooked eggs contain less antibiotic protein than raw eggs, and antibiotic proteins will hinder cats’ absorption of vitamin b7.

3. If you want to choose raw eggs, it is best to buy sterile eggs, because ordinary raw eggs may put cats at risk of salmonella, E. coli and campylobacter.

4. It is usually not recommended for cats under 3 months old to eat eggs, because the cat’s digestive system is not yet complete at this time and may cause indigestion. Cats over three months old can eat cooked egg yolks, but be sure not to feed them egg whites. You can separate the yolks from hard-boiled eggs and mix them into your cat's food.

Precautions for cats eating chicken:

1. When providing chicken to cats, we should try to reduce the degree of cooking of the chicken. Seasoned chicken and deep-fried chicken drumsticks may be great for you, but they may not be great for cats.

2. If you can avoid feeding chicken skin, then please don’t. Chicken skin contains a lot of fat, which can change your cat's diet and may cause soft stools and diarrhea. If you want your cat to poop healthy poop, I suggest you don’t take this risk.
