Cats cannot eat fried fish roe. Although cats can eat fish roe, they cannot eat fish roe cooked with any seasoning. The oil and salt content in fried fish roe is too high for cats and will increase the burden on the cat’s kidneys. Foods high in fat and salt can cause vomiting and diarrhea in cats, and in severe cases, cats may die from dehydration.

Notes on feeding fish roe to cats:

1. Fish roe is rich in protein, calcium, phosphorus, iron and vitamins. However, cats should not eat fish roe raw to avoid being infected with parasites and irritating the cat’s gastrointestinal mucosa. After boiling the water, you can feed a small amount of fish roe. Fish roe contains a lot of fat. Eating too much can easily lead to obesity and picky eating in cats. Feeding too much can also cause indigestion.

2. Although fish roe is very nutritious, cats cannot eat too much because it contains high salt content. Also don't feed your cat food that contains salt, as salt can cause many cat diseases.

3. The eggs of a few fish such as catfish and pufferfish are poisonous and should not be eaten.
