The native dog recognizes its owner. The native dog refers to the Chinese pastoral dog, which is a widely raised pet. Its main characteristics are docility, cuteness, and high loyalty. The native dog will recognize its owner. Native dogs are easy to raise and relatively approachable. When a native dog begins to recognize its owner, it becomes very clingy and wants to stay by its owner's side. When it hears its owner calling its name, it will respond positively and enthusiastically. And when the owner is depressed, the native dog will silently accompany the owner.

How do native dogs recognize their owners:

1. Sense of smell: Dogs mainly rely on smell to identify things, including their owners. Dogs have approximately 12,500 to 20,000 olfactory cells, and they can identify more than 20,000 odors. So we usually see dogs sniffing and licking their owners. The dogs are remembering your scent and can recognize you at a glance even in a group of people.

2. Dynamic vision: Dogs have average vision. They are color weak, not color blind. The farthest vision of dogs can only see 50 meters, but this does not prevent dogs from recognizing human faces.

Dogs have very strong dynamic vision and can observe fast-moving objects. Therefore, in daily life, dogs have already memorized the owner's body shape, movements, and appearance. Many people may not know that dogs rely on dynamic vision to recognize their owners.

3. Hearing: Dogs’ ears are very sensitive. Their hearing range is 15Hz-50000Hz, which is about 16 times that of humans. So every time you open the door to your home, you will find that your dog is already greeting you because they heard that you are coming back.

The dog can determine which footsteps belong to the owner, and can also determine the real owner based on the tone, speed and intonation of the owner's words. So talk to your dog more and he will get to know you.

4. Memory: The dog has lived with its owner for a long time, and the dog has already memorized the owner's living habits and behavioral characteristics. These will become the dog’s long-term memory. Therefore, dogs can recognize their owners at a glance because they are very familiar with their owner's body language and can tell who is their owner just by looking at their movements.
