Milk cats can eat mint. Mint is not harmful to cats, but cats will not like to eat it. Mint has a cool and strong taste, and cats are repelled by this taste. It is best to feed cats special catnip. Catnip has no obvious smell, but the smell can excite the cat and put the cat in a happy state. It is not recommended to allow cats to contact it for a long time, otherwise it will cause difficulty in breathing. The frequency of use is only once a week.

Precautions for cats eating catnip:
1. If the cat feels nervous in a strange environment, you can feed catnip to relieve the cat’s nervousness.
2. Excessive consumption of catnip will irritate the cat's respiratory system and may lead to over-excitement, causing it to scratch, bite, and run around. It may also cause the cat to vomit and have diarrhea, so the amount must be controlled.
3. Do not feed catnip to pregnant cats. Mint will irritate the cat and cause nerve excitement, and may even stimulate uterine contractions and cause miscarriage. Moreover, mint is cool in nature and is not good for pregnant cats.
4. Not all cats are interested in catnip. Only 50% of cats have a strong reaction to catnip, and the cat must be over 7 months old. Kittens under one or two months old are not interested. If it doesn’t work, don’t force the cat to eat catnip just to amuse the cat.
