Things to note when purchasing a Siamese cat:

1. The appearance is neat, lively and energetic, and the movements are flexible. When holding it in the hand, it feels heavier than expected. That is the actual weight.

2. When you open your mouth, you will see that the mouth, gums and tongue are light red, the teeth are biting normally, and there is no special odor.

3. Cat ears should be clean and free of secretions. If your cat constantly scratches its ears or shakes its head, it may be infected with ear scabies.

4. The tip of the nose is reddish, moist and shiny. The tip of the nose should feel cool and moist with the back of your hand. There should be no nasal discharge or secretions around the nostrils.

5. The eyes should be clear and bright, with no secretions from the corners of the eyes, and the third eyelid should not be exposed at the corners of the eyes (the third eyelid appears first in many cats when they are sick).

6. The body is moderately developed, the muscles are strong, the limbs are thick but not bent, the person can walk normally, and can react strongly when pulling the legs and feet with hands.

7. The abdomen should be slightly round, and the ribs cannot be touched by hand. If the cat’s abdomen is enlarged, it may be a symptom of roundworm infection or peritonitis. It is normal for the kitten’s belly to be slightly protruding.
