Common diseases of Bernese Mountain Dogs:

1. Canine distemper parvovirus: Generally, this type of infectious and fatal disease mostly occurs during the weaning period of Bernese Mountain Dogs, or during the weaning period. Around 1 year old, puppies are highly susceptible to infection, have a low cure rate, and are prone to sequelae.

2. Lung disease: Lung disease is a very serious disease. When a Bernese Mountain Dog is found to have lung disease, it needs to be sent to the hospital immediately.

3. Skin diseases: Puppies rarely suffer from skin diseases, but as they grow, skin diseases will accompany the Bernese Mountain Dog throughout its life.

4. Canine infectious hepatitis: This is an acute sepsis infectious disease. The main symptoms are hepatitis and corneal opacity, which is what we often call blue eye disease.

5. Gastrointestinal diseases: The intestines of Bernese Mountain Dogs are relatively sensitive and fragile. If they eat unclean food, expired and rotten food, or food with industrial additives, they are prone to gastrointestinal diseases.

6. Constipation: Constipation refers to the retention of intestinal contents and feces, which eventually blocks the intestinal cavity. It is more common in middle-aged dogs.

Prevention of common dog diseases:

1. Canine distemper parvovirus: vaccinate your dog on time, and disinfect your home regularly. If the vaccine is not completed, Don't take your dog for a walk.

2. Lung disease: Outdoor lawns, moldy fodder or dog kennels can all induce this disease. Outdoor lawns should be tidied regularly, and dog utensils should be cleaned and exposed to the sun.
