A cat will not recognize that a whole family is its owner. At the same time, a cat will only recognize one owner. Whoever is nice to it, treats it well, feeds it often, and spends more time with it, it will recognize it. Whoever is the master listens to whoever says it. Although it does not recognize other family members as its owners, it will be friendly to all family members who are good to it.

Signs of a cat recognizing its owner:

1. A cat that has recognized its owner will greet you at the door when you come home, and take the initiative to approach you and ask for caress.

2. Cats that recognize their parents generally have very light sleep and are easily awakened, while cats that recognize their owners will nestle in your arms with peace of mind and sleep soundly.

3. If the cat goes into heat at night and runs away from home, and the cat can come back on its own the next day, it means that it regards your home as its own.

4. When you call the cat or wave, it will respond accordingly and run towards you.

5. Cats have a proud personality, are indifferent to strangers, and are enthusiastic towards their owners. If your cat takes the initiative to run towards you with a cat teaser stick in its mouth, then it must recognize you.

6. Wagging its tail; or wrapping its tail around you. After some cats recognize their owner, they will also wag their tail in front of their owner or wrap their tail around you in exchange for caress, snacks and toys.
