Schnauzers can recognize new owners. Usually, in the same living environment, Schnauzers will only recognize the people they are most familiar with as their owners. Schnauzers are very smart dogs. They will be more enthusiastic and obedient to people who take good care of them and play with them. When the owner teases the Schnauzer, it will be particularly excited. If the Schnauzer changes its owner, after a period of getting along with it, the Schnauzer will also recognize the new owner.

How Schnauzers recognize their new owners:

1. Schnauzers will sleep with their belly exposed in front of their owners.

2. Schnauzers like to sleep on the owner’s bed and clothes, and also like to bite the owner’s shoes and lick the owner with their tongue.

3. The Schnauzer will imitate the owner’s behavior. For example, when the owner yawns, the Schnauzer will also yawn accordingly.
