Treatment methods for puppy gastroenteritis:

1. No food or water. When a dog has vomiting or diarrhea, it needs to be fasted from food and water for 1-2 days. If it is not serious, you can feed a small amount of water and apply water to the mouth to keep it moist.

2. Supplement nutrition. In order to prevent the dog from becoming dehydrated, nutritional solutions must be replenished in time to ensure the dog’s basal metabolism.

3. Strengthen care. The dog needs to be placed in a place with a suitable temperature. After the vomiting is relieved, the dog should be properly fed with sugar, salt water, non-irritating food, and a warm compress should be applied to the abdomen.

4. Calm and stop vomiting. Vomiting will aggravate the damage to the dog's gastrointestinal tract and cause dehydration and a series of other complications. For severe vomiting, anti-emetic drugs are needed.

5. Anti-inflammatory and anti-diarrheal. Symptomatic treatment is provided by injecting anti-inflammatory drugs or taking antidiarrheal drugs.
