If your dog's skin is broken, you can apply iodophor. Iodine is mainly used to disinfect the skin of general trauma. It has good disinfection and cleaning effects and is not irritating to the wound like iodine or hydrogen peroxide. However, iodophor cannot promote wound healing, so after disinfection, attention should be paid to further treatment of the dog's wound.

Steps for treating broken skin on dogs:

1. Clean and disinfect the wound. Trim the hair around the dog's wound appropriately, clean it with saline, and then use a cotton swab or cotton ball dipped in iodine to disinfect the wound.

2. Bandage the wound. Gently wipe away excess disinfectant on the wound with sterilized gauze. Larger wounds need to be wrapped with sterile gauze to avoid wound infection and inflammation.

3. Supplement nutrition. To enhance the dog's dietary nutrition, you can prepare some light and nutritious food for it to promote the growth of new granulations in the wound and help the wound heal as soon as possible.
