Neutering a cat is not cruel. For cats, the sterilization operation is anesthetized, so the cat will not feel pain during the sterilization operation. Moreover, neutering a cat can reduce the pain of the cat during estrus and prevent the cat from developing reproductive system diseases, such as uterine tumors, testicular tumors, etc. If the pet owner does not have the need to breed the cat, it is recommended that the cat be sterilized at the appropriate age.

Precautions for sterilizing cats:

1. Wear an Elizabethan ring. Prevent the cat from licking the wound and chewing the sutures.

2. The cat needs to be deprived of food and water for 24 hours before the operation, because the anesthetic will cause the cat to vomit, and if there is food, it will easily block the trachea and nasal cavity.

3. Keep warm after the operation to prevent the cat from catching cold.

4. Take a bath one week before the operation, and do not take a bath for one month after the operation.
