As a pet parent, are you envious when you see other people’s pet dogs obeying the owner’s instructions to sit down, lie down, run, etc.? These instructions are actually trained by the owners, not the dogs. They are born to be obedient, so pet parents don’t have to worry. According to my method below, you can also make your dog listen to your commands.

"Sit down"

Training time: When the dog is lively, wants to play, or if it is sleeping, if you suddenly wake it up and let it train with you, it will be strange that it will ignore you

Training venue: At home, your dog basically doesn’t listen to anything outside, so who cares about you?

Training methods:

1. Prepare dog food and put it in your pocket, don’t let it see it

2. Hold the dog's chest with your left hand, push the dog's butt down with your right hand, and say at the same time: "Sit down." After letting the dog sit down, reward him with a piece of dog food

3. Repeat training, twice a day in the morning and once in the evening. The training time should not exceed 15 minutes each time, but you can rest for half an hour after every 15 minutes of training before strengthening the training

4. Generally, after 5-7 days of training, the dog can master it. After that, regular strengthening training should be done to prevent the dog from forgetting

Note: "Sit" is a commonly used verbal command, so it must be mastered by the dog

Training venue: home

Training methods:

1) On the basis of the dog learning to "sit down", dog food should also be prepared

2) First command the dog to "sit", then press the frame behind the dog's neck with your right hand, and place your left hand behind the two front legs. Apply force with your right hand, and push the dog's two front legs forward with your left hand. Let the dog lie down

3) After the dog lies down, reward it with dog food

4) Strengthen training in the future

Note: It usually takes a little more than a week for dogs to learn this action. Some dogs have strong receptivity and can learn it in 4-5 days
