It is best to clean the cat's prolapsed area with warm water every day, then use a cotton swab dipped in hemorrhoid cream and gently apply it on the cat's prolapsed area. If treatment doesn't work, it's best to consider seeking medical treatment. Keep the kitten's usual meal intake and add a small amount of vitamins and probiotics to the food, which can improve the kitten's immunity and resistance. Anal prolapse in cats is mainly caused by severe diarrhea. Breeders need to pay attention to the food safety of cats.

Causes of cat prolapse:

1. Cat constipation leads to excessive force in defecation, which causes anal prolapse.

2. When the strength of the anal sphincter that closes the anus is weakened due to lack of nutrition or medical disease, its function is weakened, causing rectal overflow.

3. It is also possible that the cat’s nerve problem causes relaxation of the anal sphincter, leading to anal prolapse.
