Steps to train a dog to “dive into a circle”:

Step one:The training method is: block the hula hoop in the doorway, and be careful to minimize the chance of the dog making mistakes. The little one already knows how to jump and understands the meaning of "past", but due to his nature, he is still likely to want to crawl under the hula hoop.

Step 2: Let the dog sit in one room, while you stand in another room, take the leash around its neck and pull it through the center of the circle. While calling its name, pull the dog out of the pen and come to you. If he shows signs of wanting to run away, say, "Come on, good boy." Gently pet him, praise him, and try again.

Step 3: When the dog jumps over, if it is as comfortable as if there is no hula hoop there, lift the hula hoop up slightly, but it is still stuck in the doorway. Then, when the hula hoop is about 30 cm above the ground and it still jumps over easily and nimbly, you can leave the doorway and just hold the hula hoop in your hand and let it pass.

Step 4:The principle is simple: when your dog comes to you, he has no choice but to get through the circle. The procedure is such that the responsibility lies with you and not it. It is your command to make it circle. If he is lazy and goes around the bend, correct him by saying, "No, get through it." Then lower the height of the hula hoop slightly.

Step 5:Continue to use the hula hoop to cultivate your dog’s confidence. Every time you train, be sure to warm up with a few lower jumps before taking it to higher heights. It's best to do it when you're in a high mood, so you'll be more willing to share your energy and generous praise with your dog.
