Dogs can eat cooked pork liver. Pork liver has relatively high nutritional value and is rich in iron, phosphorus, lecithin, and vitamin A. It is also a good blood supplement. However, it cannot be given to dogs for long-term consumption, otherwise it will cause poisoning of dogs and increase the incidence rate. In addition, do not add other seasonings when making it, otherwise the nutrients of the pork liver will be lost.
The dangers of dogs eating pork liver for a long time:
1. They are prone to obesity. Liver is rich in fat and carbohydrates. If your dog eats it for a long time, it will lead to obesity and may even lead to diabetes, pancreatitis, and cardiovascular disease.
2. Vitamin A poisoning. Liver contains vitamin A. If eaten in large amounts, it may cause vitamin A poisoning in dogs, which can cause pain, lameness, tooth loss and other diseases.
3. Calcium deficiency. Pork liver contains a large amount of phosphorus but low calcium content, and phosphorus inhibits the absorption of calcium. Long-term consumption will cause calcium deficiency in dogs, which is not conducive to growth and development.
