I still remember that when I was a kid, I often took various personality, IQ, and mental endurance tests in magazines or on some websites. Then some people would definitely ask, um, are there any tests about dogs? Hehe Hehe, of course the answer is yes, let’s take a look at some simple dog personality tests!

1. Test friendliness

In the same litter of puppies, when you sit down and call it, it should be very happy to see you and come over happily. If it ignores you, it means it has no fate with you.

2. Test the degree of trainability

Take a toy or an old sock and drag it on the ground. It should be attracted and even chase it. This is a good sign. If it is not interested, it means that it will be difficult to train in the future.

3. Test nerve sensitivity

Put the dog on the floor to play. When it was playing intently, a stainless steel bowl was suddenly dropped on the ground 1.5 meters away from it. See if sudden noises scare it. A normal reaction is for the puppy to want to check the source of the noise, or to continue playing after being urged. If your puppy appears scared and refuses to continue playing, it means it is too sensitive and not suitable to be your pet.

4. Degree of cooperation

When it is playing by itself, roll a tennis ball in front of it to see if it catches up. Then when you call it, it will bring the ball back to you. Then it can become your good partner in playing flying saucer games in the future. .

5. Test whether its personality is suitable for being your pet

Play with the puppy for a while, then let it lie down, and press its chest with your hands so that it cannot move. The puppy should struggle and cry a few times, indicating that it does not like being suppressed, but finally relaxes. And surrender. If it doesn't struggle and acts passively, it's not a good pet. If it reacts strongly and roars or threatens you, it means it has a desire to be a leader. If it becomes your pet, it will cause you a lot of trouble in the future.

6. Test its aggressiveness

If you suddenly pinch its toes hard, the puppy will scream, but after you pat it, it will quickly forgive you and continue to play with you, proving that it is a good pet. If it runs away and stops playing with you, or wants to bite you in revenge, then don't consider it your pet. Because in the future breeding, it will inevitably be harmed unintentionally, especially when you have children, it will cause unnecessary harm to you. This test is not recommended for frequent use.
