Precautions for bathing civet cats:

1. To bathe a cat, you need to use cat-specific bath liquid. Because the pH of pet skin is different from that of humans, using human bath soap will damage the cat's skin barrier and cause irritation to the cat's skin over time, leading to low immunity or skin disease in the cat.

2. When bathing a cat, be careful not to get water or bath fluid into the cat’s ears and eyes. Water entering the ears is difficult to remove and can easily inflame the cat's ears. If the bath liquid enters the cat's eyes, it will irritate the cat's eyes.

3. Don’t bathe your cat too frequently. Generally, cats hate bathing very much, and some cats will even become angry without eating or drinking within a day or two after taking a bath. Most cats love to be clean and will clean their bodies by themselves, so unless there are any accidents, you only need to give your cat a bath once every three months or so.
