If a cat is not neutered cleanly, the cat will continue to be in estrus, and the male cat will urinate randomly and occupy territory, while the female cat will still meow and raise her buttocks in a posture waiting for mating. However, it should be noted that some cats have just been neutered and the hormones in their bodies have not completely subsided, so they may go into estrus. Just wait until the hormones subside.

Precautions for cat sterilization:

1. Cats cannot be fed within 8 hours before sterilization surgery. Please follow the doctor’s instructions for specific circumstances.

2. Before the sterilization operation, the cat owner should take the cat for a check-up to see if the cat's physical condition is suitable for sterilization operation.

3. After sterilization, the cat needs to be placed in a quiet, warm place away from sunlight. Pay attention to the cat's breathing, pulse, and body temperature, and maintain indoor ventilation.
