As a novice, it is my first time to raise a pet dog, but I have difficulties when purchasing a dog, because I don’t know how to choose a purebred Teddy dog. How to tell whether Teddy is a purebred dog? How should we choose?< /p>

Teddy

First of all, its eyes, eyeliner, nose, and mouth must be pure black. Then the coat color should be uniform and shiny. When buying, buy one with a lot of hair. The thicker and darker the reddish brown, the better. In addition, the nose should be smaller, and the eyes should be almond-shaped but not too big. The shorter the nose, the smaller the body will be when it grows up. When buying, remember to check the parents of the dog if you can. In addition, it is recommended to buy a dog that is more than 3 months old. The younger the dog, the less resistant it is and the easier it is to die young.

The size is small, basically no more than 8 kilograms, so that you can pick it up casually and have the feeling of a teddy bear. Of course, some buyers like large bears, but in principle they should not exceed 38 centimeters (mini The highest standard for a small poodle is shoulder height), otherwise your poodle will look like a bear instead of a bear cub (not to mention how much trouble it will cause to have such long hair).

Sufficient hair volume and good curling. Generally, when we buy a dog, we will ask for good hair volume, especially for "Teddy VIP", and the hair should be rolled in small curls, similar to sheep cake velvet (when purchasing a puppy, you can Look at the hair at the end of the puppy’s ears, the curlier the better); you don’t want your bear to feel like a mini Afghan instead of fluffy.

The mouth should not be too long. Poodles have the standard of a poodle, but as an ideal "Teddy Poodle", it is better to have a shorter and smaller mouth (not too wide); in this way, the hair will look like a small ball in the future. Of course, dogs that have been purchased and have slightly longer mouths can also be modified by trimming, which we will talk about below.

Dark colors are preferred, red and chocolate are good, but because the current price is on the high side, black or apricot are also good choices. This actually involves more personal preference; but it needs to be reminded that white VIPs stay The hair on the long muzzle will be more like a bichon than a bear cub (especially the "short-legged VIP" on the market now - that is, the VIP with a body shape that is obviously more rectangular. As a pet-level VIP, the body shape is slightly more rectangular. It doesn’t matter too much)
