Cat is not energetic after not eating
The reasons why cats don’t eat and have no energy:
1. Cats have no appetite and are listless because of catching a cold.
2. Cats go on hunger strike, have low energy, have weakness in limbs and have enlarged belly due to cat-to-abdominal infection.
3. Cats may suffer from loss of appetite, vomiting, and diarrhea caused by gastroenteritis.
4. Cats infected with feline distemper may cause them to not eat or drink, vomit, have diarrhea, and have an elevated body temperature.
Solutions for cats that are not eating and have no energy:
1. If it is caused by a cold, you should keep the cat warm and feed it some special food for pets. Treat the cat with cold medicine and make some delicious cat food to stimulate the cat to eat.
2. If it is caused by cat-to-belly transmission, you need to take the cat to the pet hospital for treatment as soon as possible.
3. If it is caused by gastroenteritis, the cat needs to be treated with anti-inflammatory drugs and combined with probiotics to regulate the gastrointestinal tract.
4. If it is caused by feline plague, the cat needs to be isolated first and sent to the hospital in time for corresponding treatment.
