Hair characteristics: The Yorkshire terrier's hair is straight, without waves, thick, and fine. The hair texture is silky and smooth, and the body hair is of moderate length. It takes a lot of time and specialized techniques to keep the coat of the Yorkshire Terrier shiny and smooth. However, in daily life, owners cannot take good care of the long hair. It is often seen that the hair of this kind of dog is cut to 2.5cm long.

Cleaning:

1. Let the dog stand on the grooming table in a correct posture, and use a needle brush to comb slowly in the opposite direction from the hindquarters to the forequarters;

2. Comb your head;

3. Finally brush the tail.

Cleaning:

Before washing, clean the ears and nails, and shave the soles of the feet and belly hair.

1. Squeeze out a little pet bath liquid and dilute it with water, and control the water temperature at 35°-38°;

2. Use your thumb and index finger to gently squeeze the anal glands to clean them;

3. When taking a shower, you should wet your front body first and rinse from front to back. Then apply diluted bath solution to the head and body, and gently rub along the head to the back, abdomen and limbs. Do not let the bath solution flow into the eyes;

4. After rubbing, wash the whole body with water and apply conditioner, then rinse thoroughly.

Blow dryer:

1. Wrap your body with a bath towel and move to the table to dry the water;

2. Blow dry the remaining moisture with a hair dryer, starting from the head and using a brush to straighten each part bit by bit until the hair roots are completely dry;

3. After blow-drying, use a straight comb to comb the hair all over your body again to see if there are any knots or hair that has not been straightened.
