Every time I see other people’s dogs being well-behaved and cute, they will take the initiative to greet guests and shake hands when they see cute people, but my own poodle can’t do that, so I want to train the dog so that it can learn these things. The following is the same as Let’s learn how to train together!

Poodle

1. Guest greeting and send-off training

When a friend comes to your home as a guest, your poodle can greet you warmly, and your friends will be envious because you have a well-mannered poodle. When friends come to your home, you greet each guest and say "Hello, please take a seat." Every time you say it, give the dog some affection and pet it.

When you are affectionate, the dog will also shake its head and tail to show affection. In this way, every time you call "Hello, please sit down" from now on, the dog will shake its head and tail on its own, and you no longer need to be affectionate or pet it. This shows that this dog is very polite.

When guests leave, you first point at each guest, call the dog's name to attract the dog's attention, and then say "goodbye" to the guests, ask the dog to come forward and wag its tail to the guests to say goodbye, and then Take it and leave. After the dog completes the action, you should reward it immediately, and the guests should also praise it. After many repetitions, the dog can greet the guests politely.

2. Handshake training

This action can be said to be one of the essential actions for any dog. It is easy to train and most dogs can easily learn it. However, we still have to remind you that not all dogs can be taught once, and the owner still needs to be patient in teaching.

It is natural for puppies to scratch each other when they play. During training, shout: "Reach out" and then pick up his left front foot with one hand and his right front foot with the other hand. While saying "ok", take out one hand and stroke the dog's neck or chest, and reward it with some food.

Say "handshake" when you hold his front foot! When he lifts his right foot, shake his hand with your right hand, then praise and reward him. Repeat this until it does it every time. When it has learned the correct handshake, ask it to shake hands with the other foot. At this time, different commands should be given.
