To bathe a greyhound, the first thing to do is to prepare the preparation supplies for bathing.

Before taking a formal bath, you should brush the greyhound's fur to remove dirt and dust on the body to make bathing simpler and easier; at the same time, trim its toenails to prevent the dog from scratching its owner due to nervousness during the bath.

Prepare bath water: The bath water temperature should be consistent with the dog’s body temperature and should be kept at around 37-38 degrees. Of course, in cold winter, the water temperature can be appropriately increased, and in hot summer, the water temperature can be appropriately lowered. To test whether the water temperature is suitable, parents can put the greyhound's paws in the water. If it does not reject it and can accept it, it means that the water temperature is suitable and you can start bathing.

During the bathing process: To achieve the purpose of thorough cleaning, parents’ hands must be rubbed for the dog. Especially the neck, feet, chest, abdomen, buttocks and other parts should be thoroughly rubbed to remove dirt.

At the end of bathing: After thoroughly cleaning the greyhound, parents should wipe the pet dog's body with a towel, and then use a hair dryer to dry the wet hair thoroughly, so as to prevent the greyhound from catching colds and getting sick.
