How to trim a kitten's nails:

1. Put the kitten in a comfortable position and hold the kitten between the legs. If the cat is nervous, you can cover the cat's head with a blanket.

2. Then grab one of the kitten's paws and use your fingers to squeeze the cat's nails out of the pads.

3. Observe the blood line of the cat’s nails. The blood line is usually the color boundary. The common areas near the toes are pink and the areas far away are gray-white. The gray-white area is the area that can be cut.

4. Just cut the nails 3 mm in front of the blood line. Do not trim the nails too short or cut the cat's flesh.

5. After trimming, you can use a nail grinder to round the broken end of the nail. If the nail bleeds, you can use styptic powder to stop the bleeding.
