Pet cats are not allowed on the Xi'an subway. Article 44 of the "Xi'an Urban Rail Transit Regulations" clearly stipulates that it is prohibited to bring animals into the station or ride on the train. Rail transit is a public transportation with a large passenger flow. Pets can easily carry germs and endanger public health in subway stations and carriages with small spaces and poor air circulation. In addition, bringing pets on board is likely to affect the normal rail transit operation order. There have been incidents in subways in cities such as Guangzhou and Wuhan where pet dogs slipped into subway tunnels, causing signaling equipment failures and causing train delays to varying degrees.

The reasons why pets are not allowed on the subway

1. If pets urinate and defecate anywhere while riding the subway, it will not only cause pollution to the public environment , will also cause trouble to other passengers, and will also make the work of the staff more difficult.

2. Generally, there is a lot of passenger traffic in the subway, and coupled with the roar of the subway, if you take your pet on the subway, it will easily cause your pet to be frightened. This will cause pets to run around and flow into the subway tunnels, causing train operation failures or even causing the trains to not operate normally, causing inconvenience to more passengers.

3. If the pet you carry has parasitic fleas or zoonotic diseases, the space is small and crowded during the subway ride, which can easily affect the health of other passengers.
