Training a Corgi is like taking care of a child. You must not pamper them to develop bad habits from an early age. So what are some good ways and means?

(1) During training, as long as you find that the Corgi is trying hard to do what you want it to do, you should praise it with kind words and deeds, and sometimes feed it some food to encourage it; instead of using threatening language or hitting the Corgi Dogs get the opposite result.

(2) Proper education and training of Corgis is an art, and this art can only be learned by those who can truly think and deal with it from a psychological perspective; and those who do not act according to scientific laws will not do anything to the Corgis. Corgi owners who treat their Corgis casually, or even play with them for fun, or use their Corgis to tease or intimidate others, will not only never train good Corgis, but they will also train Corgis badly. (3) When training a Corgi puppy, you cannot ask it to obey everything, just like you cannot make such demands on children. However, during the breeding process, the Corgi must be pointed out the things that are taboo for it. In this way, the Corgi learns obedience as it grows older. If the Corgi is found doing something it is not allowed to do, it must be punished. It should be noted that the punishment here is not to hit the corgi, but to shake the collar around the corgi's neck, scold it severely or pat it gently. But punishment can only be imposed if caught red-handed doing something it is not allowed to do. Punishment afterwards is wrong, otherwise the Corgi will understand that whatever it does is wrong.

(4) During the period of training the Corgi, it is best for the owner to raise and manage the Corgi himself. When feeding the Corgi and every time you come into contact with the Corgi, your attitude should be flexible, your speech should be gentle, and your behavior should be generous. Coupled with daily grooming and cleaning, playing with the Corgi will gradually eliminate the Corgi's defensive and exploratory responses to itself, and become familiar with the owner's smell, voice, and action characteristics. When the Corgi shows affection and excitement to its owner, the Corgi can be trained.

(5) The basis of all kinds of training is the Corgi’s unconditional obedience. This is what people often say about controlling and mastering their Corgi. The most obvious manifestation of the Corgi's obedience is the practice of "walking in" or "coming over". Under any circumstances, including while playing, a Corgi must return to its owner immediately upon hearing a summons or whistle. This requires training when the Corgi is young. If in the early stages of training, the corgi does not come back immediately after hearing the summons or whistle, the owner should not punish it, nor tie it up immediately or stop training immediately, lest the corgi may associate the action of "coming closer" with it. The unpleasant mood is associated with it; rather it should be rewarded more when it comes back in time.
