Shiba Inu Constipation Symptoms
Shiba Inu constipation symptoms:
1. Shiba Inu suddenly reduces the frequency of defecation, and the defecation interval is long.
2. When the frequency of defecation is normal, difficulty in defecation occurs, and the stool is dry and hard.
3. Loss of appetite, poor sleep, restlessness, and whining due to abdominal pain.
4. When constipation is severe, hind limb spasms may occur.
Causes of Shiba Inu constipation:
1. Dietary problems: Long-term feeding of bones, meat, animal offal and too dry dog food, as well as lack of drinking water can cause constipation.
2. Environmental problems: unable to adapt to a strange new environment, and being disturbed during defecation.
3. Disease problems: painful defecation diseases or defecation movement disorders.
4. Age problem: The Shiba Inu is too small and has poor gastrointestinal digestion; as it gets older, the normal gastrointestinal peristalsis will weaken.
5. Self-problems: insufficient exercise, lack of normal body consumption and excessive obesity.
