1. Preparation

Electric scissors, 10# blade, straight scissors, dental scissors, small straight scissors, grooming comb, Shih Tzu.

2. Operation method

(1) Use a 10# blade electric clipper to shave the soles of your feet cleanly.

(2) Use a 10# blade electric scissor to shave the underbelly hair cleanly. Shave the male dog into an inverted "V" shape and the female dog into an inverted "U" shape.

(3) Use a 10# electric scissor to shave the hair around the anus into a "V" shape, with the width no longer than the base of the tail.

3. Operation steps

(1) Trim the back and divide it into 7 layers. The first layer starts from the occipital bone along the spine to the root of the tail, the 2nd and 5th layers to both sides of the spine, the 3rd and 6th layers to the middle part of the body; the 4th and 7th layers The position close to the imaginary line (see Figure 3-3-1). Use a #4 blade electric clipper to shave along the direction of hair growth, move the clipper laterally, and shave into an arc-shaped imaginary line from the occipital bone to the base of the tail, and from the sternum to the ischium. The area from mandible to chest is also within the shaving range (see Figure 3-3-2).

(2) Trim the buttocks. Use straight scissors to trim the buttocks into a very small arc.

(3) Trim the hind limbs. The dog should stand in a normal position at the edge of the table to facilitate trimming. On the back side, use the center of the hock angle of the hind limb as an imaginary point, and use straight shears to trim the perfect hock angle in three steps (see Figure 3-3-3). Step 1: Start from the ischium and go diagonally to the imaginary point; Step 2: Start from the bottom of the hock and go diagonally to the imaginary point; Step 3: Trim the connection between the imaginary points in an arc. Transverse shears are allowed, that is, use straight shears to trim horizontally and parallel to each other. Lateral side of hind limb. Trim the sides of the hind limbs in a straight line from the waistline to the toes. Use a comb to lift the coat on the inner side of the hind legs outwards, and then use straight shears to cut across the hair in a straight line from top to bottom (see Figure 3-3-4).
