Causes of bad breath in Bichons:

1. Indigestion. When a Bichon Frize exhibits symptoms of indigestion such as constipation, diarrhea, flatulence, etc., the dog will burp easily, and the smell of chyme in the intestines and stomach will emit from the mouth.

2. Unhealthy diet. When a Bichon Frize always eats human food, or often picks up garbage or eats soft food, it will increase the burden on the dog's gastrointestinal tract, lead to oral diseases, and then cause bad breath.

3. Failure to clean the mouth regularly. When the Bichon Frize eats, there will be food residues left between the teeth. If the owner does not have the habit of brushing the dog's teeth, the food residues will rot and ferment over time, giving off a smell.

4. Lack of vitamins. When the Bichon Frize's body lacks vitamin B, it will cause indigestion, oral diseases, and bad breath in dogs.

5. Suffering from oral diseases. If your Bichon Frize has not brushed its teeth for a long time, it will easily form dental plaque and calculus, or the dog will suffer from oral diseases such as oral ulcers and periodontitis, which will lead to bad breath.
