Milk kittens refer to kittens that have been born recently and have not yet been weaned. They are usually about one month old. Precautions for feeding little kittens:

1. Insulation:

The little kittens are not full-grown and not plump either. , it is very easy to cause hypothermia. Kittens mostly rely on their mother cats to help keep them warm.

2. Supplementary nutrition:

If the kitten does not have a mother cat, it will naturally not be able to eat cat milk. Therefore, if you find that the kitten is not in good condition, you should give the kitten milk in time.

3. Physical examination:

Observe whether the kitten has disease abnormalities. If you find obvious symptoms of disease such as inflexible limbs, red and swollen eyes, runny nose, etc., then it is recommended to send it as a pet. The hospital treats first.

4. Help with defecation:

Cats that are too young cannot defecate on their own and need anal stimulation. You can use a sterile cotton ball dipped in a small amount of warm water and gently stroke the kitten's abdomen, anus, etc. to promote excretion.

5. Do not bathe or deworm:

Kittens are very weak, and bathing directly can easily cause a series of diseases. If your body is dirty, just wipe it lightly first. You can use an absorbent towel for cats soaked in warm water and wipe it again. Don’t deworm too quickly, because kittens must be careful when using medication.

Feeding standards for kittens:

1-7 days: Feed once every 2-3 hours, 2-4ml each time.

8-14 days: Feed once every 3-4 hours, 5-7ml each time.
