How to hold a cat

2. Hold the cat in your arms, face up, and support its back. This is also a method commonly used by cat owners, and people are accustomed to calling it the "baby hold method."

3. Put one hand under the cat’s butt and put the cat on your shoulder. This position is the most comfortable for cats and is also recognized as the correct position for holding cats.

4. Gradually approach the cat’s butt with one hand from behind to pave the way for the next step. If the other party is a normal adult cat, the correct method is to slide one hand under the cat's armpit, then grab the base of the arm and lift it up. The other hand we used to ambush behind the cat just now will be useful. When you lift one hand up from the cat's armpit, use the other hand to hold the cat's thigh + butt. If nothing happens, you can easily pick the cat up.

5. Compared with the above holding method, there is a more common and simple method, which is to hold the cat’s armpits with both hands. But in fact, this approach has obvious shortcomings.
