Methods to prevent puppies from catching colds:

1. Too much temperature difference between indoor and outdoor can easily cause puppies to catch colds. Therefore, before taking your dog out, you should turn on the air conditioner in advance. Turn it off and wait until the temperature difference between indoor and outdoor is not that big before going out.

2. After bathing the puppy, you must immediately dry it with a towel, and then blow dry it thoroughly with a hair dryer. Never let the puppy dry on its own, which can easily cause the puppy to dry. Catch a cold and cause a cold. In winter, try not to bathe the puppy, otherwise you need to keep the puppy warm after taking a bath to avoid catching a cold.

3. Don’t go out to walk your dog in windy or rainy weather. If it rains after you go out, you should find a place to take shelter from the rain as soon as possible, and dry your puppy quickly when you get home.

Symptoms of colds in puppies:

1. Poor mental state, great loss of appetite, no appetite even after smelling delicious dog food and desserts, listless look.

2. Small dogs often have watery nasal discharge flowing out of their nostrils.

3. Small dogs will sneeze and cough more frequently, have discomfort in their pharynx and throat, and have difficulty eating.

4. Under normal circumstances, the body temperature of adult fine dogs is between 36.5-37.5, and that of puppies is between 37-38 degrees Celsius. Due to fever symptoms, the body temperature of colds is 39-40 degrees Celsius.
