Precautions for bathing puppies

1. Newly born dog babies have weak resistance and are prone to cold, so they are not suitable for washing. You can use talcum powder to gently comb the dog's body, or wipe it with a wrung-out towel.

2. You should bathe your dog in the morning or noon. During this time, the temperature is higher, the dog is less likely to catch cold, and the hair is easier to dry.

3. When bathing your dog, choose warm water. The temperature can be slightly lower in summer and higher in winter. But it shouldn’t be too high or too low. If the water temperature is too high, not only will you not be able to bathe the dog, but it will also cause the dog to get burned. If the water temperature is too low, your dog may catch a cold or have a runny nose.

4. Comb your dog's hair before bathing. Be sure to comb your dog's hair before bathing, and comb out the tangled hair to prevent the hair from becoming more tangled during the bath.

5. Some dogs that are afraid of water will avoid even small puddles on the ground. These dogs who are afraid of water will also be afraid of bathing.

6. If a puppy is afraid of bathing, don’t force it to take a bath, otherwise it will have a bad impression of bathing in the future. If you need to induce it little by little, you can use a washbasin to let it feel that it is safe to take a bath.
