It is recommended to feed German Shepherd puppies soft-soaked dog food from weaning to 3 months old. Soak the dog food in hot water for 5 to 10 minutes before feeding it to German Shepherd puppies. After 3 months, the German Shepherd can gradually switch to dry dog food. At the same time, boneless broth, yogurt, chopped and cooked meat, fruits and vegetables can also be added to the dog food. It is enough to eat dog food after adulthood, and for large dogs such as German Shepherds, giving them some appropriate meat can well supplement protein and maintain muscle growth.

Foods that little German Shepherds cannot eat:

1. Sweets. German Shepherd puppies should not eat too much sweets, because sweets can easily cause puppies to gain weight, and can also cause calcium deficiency or dental caries. Therefore, parents should try not to feed their dogs cakes or other snacks in their daily lives.

2. Vitamin c. Although vitamin C is indispensable for the growth and development of German Shepherd dogs, excessive vitamin C can easily cause indigestion in dogs. Therefore, parents must pay special attention to the intake of vitamin C during the feeding process.

3. Seafood. Try not to give this type of food to cubs because it is particularly likely to cause indigestion. The most common ones are shrimp, octopus, jellyfish, crab, etc.
