1Step one: Prepare tools

Including: comb (needle comb, row comb, handle comb), electric clippers, towel, scissors, decorative flowers, nail clippers [Comb] can comb the dog's hair from the root to avoid knotting; [Needle comb] is used to comb the hair on the entire surface to make the hair fluffy and the roots clear; [Scissors] Used for trimming curved body shapes, such as the head, legs, buttocks and tail ball of poodles. It is best to choose one that is used on both sides. For example, in the picture, the tail end has two supports, so that both forward and reverse arcs can be trimmed. In addition, the arcs of the two blades should be close together and the angles should be rounded; [Electric clipper] is used to shave large areas of hair. 2Step 2: Take a bath

Give your dog a beauty bath first to remove dirt from the hair and body, which is beneficial to the beauty effect.

3The third step: Combing the coat

When combing the coat, the tool we usually choose is a pin comb. As we just introduced, a pin comb can make the dog's coat more fluffy and look softer, clearer and neater after combing. 1. Place the dog on the table for easy combing. First, comb the dog from the center of the back to the abdomen on both sides; 2. After combing the coat on the back, brush the abdomen and the inside and outside of the front feet in sequence; 3. Comb the hair on the head; 4. Finally, comb the tail. 5. Observe the overall effect of the dog's hair after combing. If the effect is not good, you can comb it again.

4Step 4: Shaving

1. Shaving, using electric clippers, is convenient and fast. First, shave the excess hair on the dog's mouth, but it should be noted that when shaving the mouth, it is best to hold the dog's mouth with your hands, and then slightly lift the dog's head, from the tip of the eyebrow to the tip of the nose, Shave the corners of the eyes, neck, cheeks, ears, and chin; 2. Secondly, the hair on the dog’s back, around the body and abdomen must be shaved short; 3. Then, when shaving the dog's four feet, be careful to only shave the roots of the foot pads, and when shaving, separate the soles of the feet and carefully shave off the miscellaneous hair in the middle; 4. Use the “V” cut method to shave 2 to 3cm of short hair from the base of the tail to the anus.

5Step 5: Clean

Since the dog has just been shaved, it is necessary to rinse the dog's body with water. It should be diluted with special pet bath liquid and water, and the anal glands should be gently squeezed with fingers to clean the anal glands; and then washed When cleaning the entire body, be careful not to let the cleaning liquid flow into the dog's eyes and ears; after cleaning, wipe the dog's coat with the prepared dry towel.

6Step 6: Blow dry

1. First, use a towel to wipe the dog's body half dry; 2. Then blow dry with a water blower. When blowing, brush while blowing until the roots of the hair are completely dry; 3. The hair after blow-drying will usually be messy. At this time, the owner needs to patiently comb the hair all over the body again according to the initial combing steps.

7Step 7: Shearing and Repair

Shearing and repairing is the most difficult part of the whole process. Let’s take a look at the detailed trimming steps:

1. Tail trimming To trim the tail, you can trim it with an electric clipper. Hold the dog's tail with one hand, tilt the clipper with the other hand, and trim along the reverse hair of the tail to the root, and then cut to the junction between the tail root and the body. After trimming one side, trim the other side in the same way, lift the dog's tail, shave all the hair around the anus, and finally shave it into a "V" shape.

2. Trim the back Hold the dog down with one hand, hold the scissors parallel to the dog's back, and then trim from the buttocks to the back to form a topline, and then extend from the back to the shoulders. During the trimming process, the coat on both sides will It should be pruned radially based on the topline. If the first trim is irregular, you can make up for it with multiple trims.

3. Trim the hind limbs Trim downward along the topline and strands, and pay attention to trimming the hair between the legs neatly, otherwise it will affect the overall appearance. The setback should be properly curved, so a 45° turn should be trimmed at the hock. Use a comb as you trim to achieve a smooth finish.

4. Trim the forelimbs The method of trimming the hind limbs is similar. Trim along the lines of the back to the shoulders, and then transition to the forelimbs. Trim the forelimbs into a cylindrical shape. Pay attention to trimming the hair on the inside of the forelimbs cleanly and connecting them naturally with the hair on the lower abdomen. If the distance between the forelimbs is abnormal, it can be corrected by pruning.

5. Trim the chest firstFind the highest point of the dog's sternum, and then trim it radially along this highest point. The front chest should be round, so that the noble temperament of the poodle can be reflected; the hair on the front chest should be slightly less, so as not to make the entire body It looks very long, and the hair on the neck should naturally connect with the hair on the chest.

6. Headgear trimming The headdress should be trimmed in a round shape, plump and three-dimensional, and naturally connected with the body. Trim the hair above the eyes with a straight shear at an angle, and cut into a bevel that is far away from the hair on the side of the head and close to the short hair on the side of the head. Use a comb to lift all the hair on the head, then trim it in a round shape after cutting the front. Use straight cuts on the sides to cut a dividing line at the junction of the ears and the headdress, then use the three-knife scissor method to trim it in a circular shape. Use the five-knife scissor method.

7. Tail trimming First, trim off the hair at the end of the tail, then trim it in a circle. Determine the size of the tail ball based on the length of the tail and the amount of hair.

After trimming the hair in various parts of the body, use a comb to comb the hair all over the body. If there are any inappropriate areas, trim them. Finally, when the desired effect is achieved, put the previously prepared decorations on the dog and you're done.
