How to get your dog to finish his meal?

Sometimes, dogs will not finish the dog food because they are picky eaters, and always leave part of the dog food; or they will eat while playing, and it will take a long time to eat a meal. So how to correct this eating problem in dogs?

1. When giving your dog breakfast, you should divide the food into two portions according to his appetite. If your dog needs to eat two meals a day, do the same for dinner.

2. Give the dog half of the food first.

3. If the dog eats half of the food you give him quickly, give him the other half.

4. After 20 minutes, take away the food that the dog has not finished and throw it away. Do not give him any food, including any rewards, before the next feeding. Of course, don’t forget that you should at least provide enough, clean water for your dog to drink.
