Solutions to abnormal fetal position in dog birth:

1. Use warm salt water or alcohol to disinfect and clean the area around the female dog’s vulva.

2. The owner can apply some soap, liquid paraffin and other lubricants on his hands, use the fingers of his right hand to enter the birth canal to correct the fetal position, and finally use forceps and other tools to take out the pup to help the dog give birth.

3. Then, after confirming the fetal position, oxytocin can be injected to assist delivery.
