How to deal with a needle hole bitten by a kitten:

1. Wash the wound promptly with tap water for about 3 to 5 minutes. Cat’s saliva reduces the residue of bacteria and viruses, and the area around the wound also needs to be cleaned carefully, as there is still a risk of infection.

2. After rinsing, clean the wound with soapy water. If the wound bleeds, squeeze it out with your hands.

3. Prepare iodine and use cotton swabs to wipe the wound and surrounding area to sterilize and disinfect it. To do simple treatment, you need to bring your medical records, go to the hospital for treatment, and get vaccinated.

4. Generally, it takes 15 days for the vaccine to produce antibodies. Therefore, it is recommended to get vaccinated within 48 hours of being bitten. The preventive effect will be better.

Measures to prevent being bitten by kittens:

1. Never force a cat.

2. When the cat looks scared, don’t try to hug or kiss it.

3. When the cat seems threatened, do not approach or squeeze it.

4. Cats will become angry due to rude treatment by naughty children, so they must be supervised when they are still playing with cats.
