English Foxhounds are well neutered. Dogs that have been neutered will be healthier, live longer, and be more emotionally stable. Female animals can avoid diseases such as uterine inflammation, and male dogs can avoid prostate diseases, helping to develop a balanced physiology or psychology. Therefore, if there are no breeding requirements for English Foxhounds, the dogs can be taken to the pet hospital for sterilization when they are 6 to 8 months old.

What should you pay attention to when neutering an English Foxhound:

1. After the sterilization operation, be careful not to feed the dog food immediately.

2. Dogs must be fully vaccinated before sterilization surgery, and they also need to refrain from food and water 8 hours in advance to avoid discomfort during the surgery.

3. Do not allow the dog to exercise extensively after sterilization surgery to avoid tearing the wound due to extensive exercise.

4. Dogs need to wear an Elizabethan ring after sterilization surgery to prevent the dog from licking the surgical wound and causing infection.

5. Be careful not to play in a dirty environment after returning home to avoid wound inflammation and infection.
