Coronavirus in dogs generally does not heal on its own and requires prompt medical treatment. The course of coronavirus disease is about a week, and the initial symptoms are vomiting and diarrhea. If the vomiting and diarrhea are severe, you must fast and drink appropriately, and you must inject fluids for rehydration. Especially puppies, the mortality rate after infection is higher than that of adult dogs. It is recommended to go to a regular hospital for early treatment.

Symptoms of coronavirus in dogs:

1. Dog coronavirus infection is an infection caused by canine coronavirus with gastroenteritis as the main symptom. The disease is clinically characterized by anorexia, severe vomiting, watery diarrhea and rapid dehydration.

2. Generally, the disease initially manifests as listlessness, loss of appetite, and continuous vomiting. The first vomiting is undigested food or chyme, and then the vomiting is acidic yellow mucus.

3. Then diarrhea begins, with mushy or soft stools first, then turning into yellow or off-white watery stools, and then the color gradually changes to brown or soy sauce-colored bloody stools. In severe cases, defecation may appear watery and spray-like.

4. With severe vomiting and diarrhea, the sick dog quickly dehydrated, showed rapid weight loss, lethargy and other symptoms, and had normal or high body temperature.
