Kittens’ nails are injured and bleed, and they usually recover in about a week. And while it recovers, disinfect its paws every day. During its recovery period, it is best to disinfect it with hydrogen peroxide or iodine every day and wear an anti-licking ring. There are many reasons why a kitten's nails bleed. Usually, cutting the nails to the bleeding line or breaking the nails when playing too excited can cause the nails to bleed.

Methods for treating bleeding kitten nails:

1. If the cat’s nails only bleed slightly, you can press them with a tissue for about half a minute, and then spray some anti-inflammatory and sterilizing agents, such as Povidone iodine will do.

2. If the cat’s bleeding is severe and the bleeding cannot be stopped, it needs to be taken to a pet hospital for treatment in time.

3. If the cat’s blood line is cut when cutting nails and causes bleeding, usually use clean paper or dry cotton balls to compress the bleeding area for a few minutes to stop the bleeding.
