Benefits of pet sterilization:

1. Neutering can reduce the incidence of pet reproductive system diseases, such as pyometra, ovarian cancer, breast tumors, testicular cancer, etc.

2. During estrus, pets will be irritable and restless, howling in the middle of the night, and have swelling and discomfort in their external reproductive organs. Neutering can reduce the pain of pets during estrus.

3. Neutering can appropriately extend the life of pets and reduce the number of stray cats and dogs.

Precautions for pet sterilization:

1. The pet must be sterilized during the non-estrus period. If your pet is in heat, be sure to wait until the heat is over before spaying or neutering.

2. Conduct a preoperative examination to assess the pet’s own health and whether it is eligible for surgery.

3. Do not eat or drink 6 hours before surgery. Otherwise, the food in the pet's stomach may flow back into the trachea during surgery, causing suffocation.

4. Do not take your pet home when it is not awake. It is best to observe it in the clinic first to prevent accidents. After arriving home, choose a comfortable and clean nest and rest in a ventilated area.

5. It is recommended that pets be hospitalized for 7 days after surgery to prevent them from being active and causing wound tearing or bacterial infection.

6. Wear an Elizabethan ring to prevent them from licking your wounds.
