In about a week to a month, dog toenitis cannot heal on its own, and you need to go to the animal hospital for treatment. Dog interdigital inflammation is usually caused by bacterial infection or a mixed infection of bacteria and other pathogens. If not treated, the bacteria will grow indefinitely. The growth and reproduction of interdigital inflammation will become more and more serious.

Treatment of dog toe inflammation

1. The owner needs to use scissors to trim the hair around the toes to expose the affected area for easy treatment.

2. Clean the dog’s toes with saline and disinfect them with diluted hydrogen peroxide.

3. If there is pus, all the pus needs to be cleaned and disinfected.

4. If the toe inflammation is too serious, oral anti-inflammatory drugs can be used to promote the recovery of the affected area.

5. The dog needs to wear an Elizabethan ring to prevent the dog from licking the medicine and being poisoned.

6. Control your dog’s movements and avoid going to humid and messy environments.
