Treatment methods for cat mammary tumors:

1. All or part of the mammary gland and part of the axillary lymph nodes can be removed through surgery. Give cats anti-cancer agents to kill breast cancer cells.

2. If the cat is older or in poor physical condition, the risk of surgery will be higher. You can choose to give the cat conservative treatment with anti-tumor drugs.

3. Use X-rays to irradiate the part of the cat's breast cancer to delay the growth or disappearance of cancer cells. Cancer cells are not very resistant to radiation, which can reduce damage to healthy cells.

Methods to prevent mammary tumors in cats:

1. Neutering can reduce the probability of getting the disease. Benign hyperplasia of the mammary gland tends to occur in adult female cats that have not been neutered or are pregnant. Studies have shown that unneutered female cats are 7 times more likely to develop mammary tumors than neutered female cats.

2. When bathing a cat, you can also subconsciously touch the cat's mammary glands to see if there are any lumps, so that the disease can be detected early and surgically treated as soon as possible.
