5. Wear an Elizabethan ring on the cat after surgery to prevent the cat from licking or scratching the wound, which may cause infection after the wound opens. Any surgery carries the risk of infection, so you must take anti-inflammatory injections or take anti-inflammatory drugs on time as directed by your doctor.

6. On the 3rd to 4th day after surgery, the owner will remove the thick gauze from the incision and wrap it in a cotton surgical gown.
