Preparation before taking a bath:

1. Prepare tools for bathing, such as shower gel, comb, towel, hair dryer, conditioner, etc.

2. Prepare the bathing water temperature suitable for Chow Chow before taking a bath. Do not put shower gel, water and other substances into the Chow Chow's eyes, ears or mouth to avoid causing the Chow Chow's resistance and being unable to complete the entire bathing process.

3. After taking a bath, wipe the entire body of the Chow Chow with a towel, and then use a hair dryer to dry the wet hair to prevent the Chow Chow from catching a cold.

Steps for Chow Chow to take a bath:

1. Prepare bath water for the Chow Chow. The bath water temperature should generally be consistent with the dog's body temperature. However, the water temperature can be appropriately lowered in hot summer, while the water temperature should be appropriately raised in cold winter. Before taking a bath, first put the Chow Chow's paws into the bath water. If the dog does not reject it, then you can start taking a bath.

2. Wet the Chow Chow’s whole body first, and then apply shower gel. The owner gently rubs the dog’s body with both hands, especially the neck, limbs, abdomen, buttocks and other parts, which need to be gently rubbed clean.

3. After rubbing it clean, the Chow Chow’s body needs to be rinsed thoroughly with clean water in time.

4. It should be noted that after cleaning the Chow Chow, parents need to wipe the water drops on the hair with a towel, and then use a hair dryer to dry the wet hair completely to prevent the Chow Chow from catching cold and getting sick.
