Methods to prevent feline calicivirus:

1. It is best to take your cat to be vaccinated against feline calicivirus, although vaccination cannot completely eliminate calicivirus. Viruses cannot 100% suppress the occurrence of symptoms, they can only alleviate the severity of symptoms. Even if vaccinated, cats infected with calicivirus are still capable of infecting other cats.

2. Avoid contact with strange cats. The prevalence of calicivirus is relatively high in all cat groups. Humans who come into contact with strange cats can easily act as a vector and transmit the virus to cats in their own homes.

3. To increase resistance, owners can usually make more cat meals and add some additional nutrients, such as vitamin B complex, etc. Provide some canned, freeze-dried, and nutritional bar foods to cats to improve their resistance.

4. Avoid low temperature at home, avoid keeping cats in low temperature environments for long periods of time, and avoid excessive indoor ventilation. Both of these factors are common factors that induce the onset of calicivirus.

5. You can disinfect your home frequently and use chlorine dioxide disinfection products.
