First aid methods for dogs

1. Dog heat stroke first aid method: move the dog to a cool, well-ventilated place. You can pour water all over the dog to cool it down, or let it soak in the water. Use ice cubes to cool down and place them near the dog's face, or near the heart, chest and abdomen to cool down.

2. First aid method for dog bleeding. If there is a foreign body in the wound, remove it first. You can use tweezers to carefully remove the foreign body. If the hair around the wound is in the way, cut it off quickly. Cover the wound with clean gauze and apply firm pressure with your hands to stop bleeding. If the bleeding does not stop, wrap a bandage around the gauze to secure it, and then seek medical attention immediately.

3. First aid method for dog fractures. If it is "bone exposed + bleeding", cover the wound with a towel or gauze, hold it with your hands, and send to the doctor immediately after the bleeding stops. Please avoid moving your body while on the road. If the foot or tail is broken, in order to avoid moving the affected part, you can place a wooden stick at the fracture site, or wrap the affected part with cardboard to fix it before seeking medical attention. If the fracture occurs elsewhere, first aid may be dangerous. Be careful not to move it onto the dog's body, and contact your doctor as soon as possible for treatment advice.

4. First aid method for dogs accidentally eating. If the foreign object is visible, use tweezers to carefully pick it out. When you cannot see the foreign object, contact the hospital as soon as possible and tell the doctor what the dog accidentally swallowed. It is best to bring items that the dog may have swallowed to help the doctor make a diagnosis.

5. The first aid method for dog burns and scalds is to apply ice immediately. If it is a mild burn or scald, first let the dog soak in ice water or use an ice pack to apply ice, and then gently wipe away the water. Wrap it briefly with clean gauze and send it to the hospital for treatment.
